What we do

Like you, we can hardly sleep the night before your wedding. We double and triple check our equipment. Review all of the countless notes we created when we met. We remind ourselves on how important our role is in creating the memories that you will have for years to come. quiz each other…practicing all the names of your family and friends…sometimes using notecards. We get a dogsitter and spend our Saturdays together. We produce the most creative and innovative wedding photos you have ever seen.

How we do it

We entice our clients to be romantic, to embrace the person they love. This real emotion translates into photos that will evoke feeling and joy for years to come. We pose you to look beautiful, we get you giggling, and when the moment is right, we take photos that your friends will be jealous of. We are the hardest working photographers you will ever see at a wedding. We are calm, confident and organized, yet ready to step in and make split second decisions for the betterment of the day. Chaotic family pics – we got that handled…rowdy groomsmen – we get ’em back in line. We have seen it all and can handle anything.

Why we do it

Despite working summer weekends and enduring many long hours and of course the ultra-responsibility that wedding photography demands, we absolutely love being a part of special events like these. With over 26 years of experience and over 1200 weddings under our belt, those experiences have provided us with unparalleled insight into how to tell a story—your wedding story. And as part of that tale We’ll create unique and visually inspiring images where you and your fiancé will always look your best. We’ll be there to photograph and anticipate both planned and unplanned moments—from the obvious to the inconspicuous. Meticulous attention to detail will be our focus as we create photographs that will make you laugh, sigh, and cry—photographs that you’ll cherish for decades to come. This is our promise.”

On a personal level, we have been married for over 25 years and we have the most spoiled puppy named Maggie. Lee is from the beautiful city of Rio de Janiero, Brazil. I was born in St. Louis, Mo but raised in Northern California. We call the city of Roseville home and could not be more blessed.

Wedding Photography

We have a very particular approach when we photograph weddings. Our goal is to travel throughout your day emotionally and visually connected to your celebration. This allows us to create a photographic story of your day full of natural, candid moments. It is important for us that we are an unobtrusive part of your day. We never take over an event because we want the day to be as natural and true to the couple as it can be. We are in the room, but not in the room. We do guide and suggest, especially during group and family photographs so we can be efficient.

We have years of experience in wedding photography. Over the years we have come to understand the flow of the wedding day really well. We bring our experience in portraiture, photojournalism and documentary work to create a beautiful visual story of a wedding.

Engagement Photography

You’ve seen the wedding blogs, the bridal magazines, the professional looking shots on Facebook of your engaged friends laughing and kissing each other with the sun setting behind them. It’s officially called engagement photography, but essentially it’s a just a chance for a professional photographer to capture two people in love who wants to share it with the world, or even just between themselves. More than that, it’s an opportunity for you to work with your photographer for the first time. It’s an opportunity for you to see how we shoot and for us to get to know you better as a couple. It’s a good way for us to help you get comfortable in front of the camera so that there are no surprises on your big day.

These sessions can be as fun and elaborate as you’d like to make it, so at the end of the day, I’d like for you to not only remember the day you had a photo shoot, but also the day you had a great date…and had a photographer tag along. These beautiful photographs have been used to create “save-the-date” cards, on the wedding websites, announcements and even incorporated into wedding day decor pieces.
